Although this pie-chart graph is a few years old, it still gives you a fair representation of where buyers come from. Note that "Real Estate Professional" includes all agents within the Multiple Listing Service. The portion attributed to "Internet" would be higher now.

Note how small a portion is attributed to "Open House" and to "Newspaper Advertising".

 So what is my strategy for selling your home? The Multiple Listing Service (Real Estate Professional), Yard Sign and Internet will cover more than two-thirds of the chances of selling your home. Just placing your home's listing in the Multiple Listing Service will bring many potential buyers to look at your home, provided that it is correctly priced.
